Fossil fuel depletion and the effect of emissions on the environment and climate are resulting in an increasing need for an acceleration of the energy transition to more sustainable alternatives. Many new developments have been achieved, but in the coming decades, we will still find ourselves facing many challenges. With the development of electric cars, heat pumps and solar panels, we are just scratching the surface of what’s possible.

Much of the technology we use today has a touch screen. Often it only takes the lightest touch to control the screen, from swiping to biometric scans. Touch screen technology is made possible by Thin Film Coating.
The Thin Film Coating is responsible for ensuring the conductivity of touch and can increase or decrease the transmission of signals. In addition, the coating must be durable and scratch-proof. It is not only used in consumer electronics but also in medical devices, semiconductor lasers and medical implants. This is versatile technology that can be used for many different applications to provide solutions for our customers.

The automotive industry is facing ever increasing challenges. We are not only at the start of an energy transition to more sustainable energy sources but the logistical challenges are also important to tackle.
